Frequently Asked Questions

The extension isn't filtering posts. What do I do? Make sure the main toggle at the top of the extension is turned ON (blue). Then check that you have at least one filter category enabled.

How do I unlock premium features? Click "Get Premium $1.99" inside the extension, complete your purchase on Whop, then copy your membership ID from whop.com/dashboard and paste it into the extension's verification field.

Does Angel Settings work on Instagram, YouTube, and X? Yes — make sure those platforms are toggled on in the "Active Platforms" section of the extension.

Will my settings be lost if I reinstall Chrome? If you're signed into Chrome, your settings sync automatically across your devices via Chrome's built-in sync. If not signed in, settings are stored locally and may be lost on reinstall.

Is my browsing data collected? No. Angel Settings collects zero data. All filtering happens locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.
