Angel Settings is a Chrome browser extension that helps you control what appears in your social media feeds on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X (Twitter). Your privacy is the foundation of this product — not an afterthought.
We collect nothing. Angel Settings does not:
Your filter settings — which categories you have toggled on or off, and any
custom keywords you have added — are stored exclusively in Chrome's built-in
chrome.storage.sync API. This means your settings live on your
own device and, if you are signed into Chrome, sync across your own Chrome
browsers through Google's standard account sync. Angel Settings has no access
to this sync process and receives no copy of your data.
When you visit Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or X (Twitter), the extension reads your locally stored settings and scans the text of posts in your feed entirely within your browser. No post text, no keyword list, and no filtering result is ever transmitted outside your device.
If you choose to upgrade to the premium version, you will paste a Whop membership ID into the extension. This ID is sent only to verify your membership status and is not stored by Angel Settings beyond that single verification request.
Angel Settings does not integrate with any advertising networks or analytics platforms. Premium verification uses Whop solely to confirm membership status.
Angel Settings does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
